Due dates and Aliens

School is over, for now. It will return for revenge. Also my part-time season job has closed as well, so as I look for more permanent employment, and binge watch the Alien Quadrilogy (don't do that by the way) I can now switch to full gear for Theta. For filming and writing and so on. Why waste time on a blog post you might ask? Because I want to god dammit and I'm not really editing this thing this is sorta free flow and I can drag and drop images now instead of hunting them down.

For the past few recordings (we're up to Episode 6 at this point), I've focused on the main Theta cast and all supporting characters they double for, but this week in particular I'll be recording with some new faces, almost entirely from my short script class, which makes me look even more forward to doing Episode 4 than ever.

Also going back to the Alien Quadrilogy. What the actual fuck? I've heard bad things about Alien 3 but man that was a well developed terrible fucking idea, same with Alien Resurrection. Why can't they just retcon those and make Alienses? It's the obvious next step to have Ripley, Newt, Hicks, and Bishop return for the invasion of Earth, but motherfucking Ridley Scott had to squish Neil Blomkamp's idea because someone has to fill in for George Lucas and Peter Jackson in the shitty prequel trilogy department. Fuck. Anyways, I'm done I'm gonna work on some Theta for y'all, and maybe court some other sucker editor to help me with the video parts.
